Le Tchadien Moussa Faki Mahamat, président de la Commission de l’Union africaine (UA), a été réélu samedi pour un mandat de quatre ans à la tête de l’organisation continentale, a-t-on appris de source officielle.
« Cinquante et un des 55 Etats membres ont voté pour un second mandat de Moussa Faki comme président de la Commission de l’UA« , a annoncé sur Twitter sa porte-parole Ebba Kalondo, au premier jour d’un sommet virtuel de l’UA. M. Faki, ancien Premier ministre du Tchad, était le seul candidat à sa succession à la tête de la Commission, principal organe exécutif de l’UA.
